RESORT 102 • How To Black With A Clash.

Colour To The Mix.

Yes we all love black!! It is flattering and super easy to style and does not need any thought really. But how about adding a pop of brightness to it and perhaps some print?

"Don't fear a mix of print or colour, embrace it."

First is first, all back clothing.

Are you heading to a place where you can enjoy a cocktail then a dip in the pool or vice versa? Then find a minimal black one piece. Pair this beauty with either black shorts, a black mini skirt or even a black maxi skirt. Culottes are cute too!

Because black is minimal:

You can add whatever colour you wish. I chose a striking coral.

You can choose lilac, cherry red, orange, pink, sky blue ... anything your heart and mood desires.

I love coral or orange with animal print, which is why I chose OPI, Hot & Spicy nail polish.

OPI: Hot & Spicy ; Earrings: Azade ; Perfume: Roberto Cavalli

Alternatively, here are a selection of colours I would go for:

What about adding a print to the look?

When choosing to mix prints:

Focus on two different prints that have something in common. Perhaps a colour or a shape. Please please please do not choose two different animal prints. Example a Zebra bag and Leopard shoe!

Here are some mix & match options for you to pair with your above outfits:
